Recommended, especially for budget travellers

Clean and comfortable room. Excellent location close to all places of interests and food outlets. Relatively reasonable rates compared to other accommodation in Tainan. The score given seems low but this is only due to the fact that we have given a neutral score to the staff since this is a self-service, no staff guesthouse.

No lift, had to walk up five flight of narrow stairs with our luggage to get to the room. The bathroom sink pipe was clogged and we received nil response to our email request to have someone come unclog it.

Comfy bad, good location.

The bathroom is far away from the room, you have to pass through very long corridor. The other thing is that every time you want to enter the hostel you need to ask lady from the reception to open you the doors, cause you don’t get the entrance card/key.

Great location, most of the famous food stalls are near to the hotel but there is some distance to train station. Value for money. The room abit small but worth the money.

The floor in the room seems abit dirty and dusty. The dustbin only provided in the toilet so it was abit inconvenient.

The location was very far away from the train station, and there was confusion on how to get into the hostel room at first due to lack of in person staff.

Good stay, nice and clean rooms (unconventional front-desk policy)

Everything was nice and clean and a good standard. Would definitely recommend it.

There's no conventional front desk, which is usually covered by transferring the money earlier and getting the room code per message. Really convenient for fluent Chinese speakers, but a little bit inconvenient for us as foreigners. All the communication was in Chinese. Because it was inconvenient for us to transfer the money, a staff member was waiting for our arrival to collect the money and we received the room code afterwards per message. The communication during that process was a bit tiring. I think it would have been an even better experience, if the (standard) messages could be translated and send in English.
